The Republican Healthcare Plan
"...The United States is a wealthy nation. We boast that we’re the world’s only superpower. We call ourselves exceptional. And yet a significant fraction of our population doesn’t have access to basic healthcare.
We Americans actually argue over whether or not access to healthcare is a basic human right. Guns, in America owning a gun is a right, but not the ability to see a doctor...healthcare? An attempted cover-up of an investigation into Deal’s misuse of funds, ethics violations, and violations of campaign finance laws, led to a series of whistle blower lawsuits, and a scandal that has implicated not only the Governor and some of his closest staffers, but the state’s entire ethics committee, as well. Recent developments also call into question whether the state’s republican Attorney General, Sam Olens, is willing or able to carry out the duties of his office in a non-partisan manner...."
