Georgia Republican Governor’s Corruption Costs Taxpayers Millions

"Allegations of corruption and ethics violations against Georgia’s GOP Governor, Nathan Deal, began to plague him even before he was elected as Georgia’s governor in 2010. An attempted cover-up of an investigation into Deal’s misuse of funds,  ethics violations, and violations of campaign finance laws, led to a series of whistle blower lawsuits, and a scandal that has implicated not only the Governor and some of his closest staffers, but the state’s entire ethics committee, as well. Recent developments also call into question whether the state’s republican Attorney General, Sam Olens, is willing or able to carry out the duties of his office in a non-partisan manner...."
